A judge in Los Angeles on Tuesday reduced the murder sentences of Erik and Lyle Menendez, making them instantly eligible for parole. The brothers addressed the judge on a remote video feed where they openly acknowledged they shot and killed their parents in their Beverly Hills mansion in 1989 and apologized for covering it up.
