When is Prime Day 2025?
It has been confirmed that this year, for the first time ever, the shopping holiday will be four days starting July 8 and going through July 11. Since it first launched, the Amazon Prime Day event has been held over two days.
While the retailer requires an Amazon Prime membership in order to participate, you can register now before the sale. Current membership rates start at $14.99 a month, or $139 for an annual membership. But you can also join at any time prior to the event, or see if you qualify for a 30-day free trial.
How is this year’s Prime Day different?
As previously reported, Prime Day has annually taken place over 48 hours but for Amazon Prime Day 2025, the retailer announced that this year will welcome the sale for four days.
While it is unclear whether Prime Day will be held for this length moving forward or if there will be another Prime Day in the fall like there has been for the last few years, the surprise news will allow Prime members to access their exclusive deals for longer.
